EDITOR’S REQUEST

For Prospective Members to the Board of Director’s Of the Hillsborough County Neighborhood Watch Association for 2008!

TO:  ALL Current NW Coordinators:

We have made a GOAL of increasing our Board of Directors by at least 7 Members. We would like 3 Members from each District. That would result in 12 active Members.

We currently have 4 Board members from Dist. IV and 1 Board member from District III.

We need 3 additional Board members from District I, 3 additional members from District II, and 3 additional members from District III. This would give us a total of 14 Directors. This would exceed our initial goal and insure we have a Board able to conduct business and help improve our fight against crime.

Upon reading this “Editor’s Request”, if any current Coordinator’s in District’s I, II, or III are interested in serving on our current Board please contact either President Nick Bates or Secretary Ken Atkison. They would be more than happy to explain just what the function of the Board is and what is expected of its members.

We look forward to being instrumental in administering NW guidelines of the HCSO and serving our community. You can make a difference and it only takes a minute to call and get started.

All we ask is the opportunity to assist you and in return ask for your help and service (by volunteering) to make Hillsborough County the best County in State.  Remember your children and spouse will be the ones reaping the benefit of your volunteering. Children learn by what we do more than what we say.
